For the First time in the history of Shri Poona Kapol Mitra Mandal the biggest sports event was held 05th jan 2014. The event was KAPOL PREMIER LEAGUE. The event was sponsored by Shri Arunbhai Sanghvi of UNNATI WORLD.
The 4 teams & their owners were
1) Shri Hemant Mehta – Mehta smashers
2) Shri Mahesh Parekh – Mahesh Parekh Superkings
3) Shri Piyush Parekh- Chandubhai Chargers
4) Shri Chetan Parekh – KN Envedors.
It was one of the biggest ever event with highest presence of Kapol Members. The Mehta smashers stood number one & won the championship.
The whole event was planned & executed under the efforts of sports committee members Shri Kaushik Doshi, Shri Divyesh Parekh, Shri Vikram Mehta & Shri Amit Parekh.
